Since 2024 I have been working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the Embassy of Australia in Washington DC, managing the digital presence of Australia in the United States, Ambassador Kevin Rudd and Ambassador Greg Moriarty. I am responsible for writing, shooting, editing and posting content across our channels.

WE'RE JUST GETTING STARTED
Marketing Campaign
With the incoming Trump Administration signalling a priority shift for international engagement, Australia needed a campaign to demonstrate the value our nation provides to the United States of America. I was tasked with creating a campaign to do so, and created multiple pieces of content under the banner - we're just getting started.

I shot and edited a sizzle reel featuring Ambassador Rudd which was embedded into a physical video card with key statistics around the relationship. Each unit was designed to be gifted to members of the Administration, Congress and the House.
Alongside the card I created pieces of printed collateral using a custom Nation Brand design scheme that would provide further information around the key pillars of the US-Australia relationship - critical minerals, trade, defence and technology.

HANDBALL

Ambassador Rudd is known for his talent with a handball. We leveraged this to create a piece of viral content where he versed children from local schools in Washington DC. This video was shot, edited and posted same day.
FOREIGN MINISTER STATE DEPARTMENT

I have worked extensively with Foreign Minister Penny Wong, covering the US legs of her overseas trips. This video of highlights from a short visit to the State Department was created for use on her social media and was shot, edited and shared with her team same day.
AUSTRALIAN COMPANIES IN THE USA
Marketing Campaign
Over 100,000 Americans work for Australian companies in the United States. To promote our economic relationship, I created a series of video profiles of major Aussie businesses in the US - each video was linked via QR code to physical booklet displaying the series.

AMBASSADOR RUDD'S GOODBYE MESSAGE

Ambassador Rudd finished his term in April of 2024. I shot and edited his final video in office, combining b roll shot over the course of his term by me in over 10 different US states to produce this emotional, well received piece of work simply captioned "thank you".
AMBASSADOR GREG MORIARTY INTRO

I was tasked with introducing the new Ambassador, Greg Moriarty to the US public, as well as reiterating our key messages. I scripted, shot and created this video as Moriarty's first public comments after his credentialing on Capitol Hill in DC.

Queensland Minister of Energy
During my stint in the Queensland Government, I worked under the Minister of Energy Mick de Brenni as his socials coordinator, photographer and videographer. During this time, I created bold pieces of content for his digital presence, utilising graphics to sell messages to his core audience and announce programs like Battery Booster.
FACEBOOK + GOOGLEADS
I have experience running targeted Facebook, Instagram and Google Ads campaigns across private, government and political. I created an launched a campaign for the Australian Government to promote the National Innovation Visa in the United States, serving targeted ads to specific groups across the country, segmented by occupation, age, income and location. These ads were seen over 1 million times in 2025, resulting in higher traffic to the website, and increase applications to the program within the target demographics.

These are three examples of digital first pieces of content created for the Minister's TikTok page. They're bold, punchy and tightly edited, while still retaining a professional tone.
FIXARIM TVC

I was tasked with creating a commercial for the FIXARIM wheel repair business to air online and on NSW television as part of our expansion into the state. I created a pitch where I budgeted and storyboarded the concept, which I then shot and edited. The resulting commercial was uploaded to FIXARIM social channels and played on local TV.

I was a member of the 4ZZZ Zedlines team, responsible for creating short news content and packages relating to important local and national news. I created content that covered the topics of Indigenous wage theft, slavery in Australia’s past and the cult surrounding the anti- vaxxer community.

I am a proficient photographer with the skills to create great pieces of media that pop on the timeline and catch viewers attention. I am well versed in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Lightroom and the GNU Image Manipulation Program.

MUSO APP
2018 gen[in] pitch
In 2018 my team's pitch at the gen[in] Innovation competition for a new music app was awarded first place and a $4000 grant by the QLD Government to pursue our idea further. During this time I collaborated with local entrepreneurs, lecturers and business experts to hone the concept and learn as much as I could. We were the winners of the community category, amongst a field of contenders.
